Keep the People’s Choice Bank open in Blackwood
Many local residents - particularly older people - rely on this branch for face-to-face banking and do not feel confident using online services or travelling 8km to Marion Shopping Centre. Alternatives such as ATMs, apps, or Bank@Post do not meet everyone’s needs.
As a customer-owned bank, People’s Choice has a responsibility to ensure accessible and inclusive banking for all members of the community.
We urge People’s Choice Bank to keep the Blackwood branch open, or work with the community on a fair local solution.
